Change of Programme: For continuing students the last date for applying for Change of Programme is August 10, 2009. The guidelines and forms can be downloaded from the website or UMS or can be collected from the Division of Academic Affairs (DAA) in Block 3, room no. 407. Application Form – Annexure 1 (complete in all respects) along with Undertaking- Annexure 4 must be submitted in the Division of Academic Affairs (DAA) latest by 05:00 PM on August 10, 2009. No applications will be entertained after that. A student may download the form and undertaking and fill it up in his/her own handwriting in CAPITAL LETTERS, get it signed from the parents, scan it and e-mail it to
[email protected]. Immediately on the receipt of the e-mail Rs. 1000/- will be debited to the account of the student as NON REFUNDABLE Application Processing Fee. The form along with undertaking can also be submitted personally in the office of DAA after payment of fee of Rs. 1000/-. The list of approved Change of Programme applications will be displayed on the website as well as UMS on August 20, 2009. These students must pay the ‘Transfer of Programme Fee’ by August 25 failing which approval for their Change of Programme will stand cancelled and they shall continue in their current programme. The ‘Transfer of Programme’ Fee must be paid in person and no facility of online payment will be available. Students must plan make their travel arrangements well in advance for this. No student will be allowed to transfer back to the old programme after paying the ‘Transfer of Programme Fee’. If the semester fee for the new programme is more than that of the old programme, the deficit amount is to be paid by the candidate within 1 week from the start of session i.e. by September 5, 2009. This is the last date but it is advisable that the students make this payment earlier to avoid any kind of inconvenience or errors in their transfer or records. To avoid any loss of studies due to processing delays in transfer, no extensions in these dates will be granted. Students must read the change of programme.
