CIC Journalism Contest A true sense of journalism is taken in the insatiable expression of words in the motive for social change. This courage lies in sharing one’s opinion in the midst of varied judgments and instills a reminder in us as to how the pen is truly mightier than the sword. Journalists are truly essential to a free nation. Inspired by this, the Communication Arts Area held a Journalism Contest from Grades 4 to 10 on the afternoon of March 21. The students expressed their perspectives as to mental health, social media and even covered the different activities that occurred during the Synergy Days. It was through this that they were given a platform to express their thoughts and talents as to different issues. True presentations of critical evaluation were exhibited by the students that truly motivate us all to form opinions for ourselves and to use our voices to make a difference in our society.
