The textbook is Algebra 1 (or Algebra 2 or Geometry): Integration, Application, Connections by Glencoe/McGraw-Hill. Rules The rules of the class are simple. The school and district rules will be enforced at all times. The consequences of violating these rules can range from a zero participation point for the day to expulsion. Each pass requires a security escort. This is non negotiable! Handle bathroom necessities between classes or at lunch. Instructional time is precious! Tests and quizzes are to be done in pencil (unless otherwise indicated) to receive full credit. Regular quizzes are unannounced. Homework is required to be done daily, because every Friday there is a homework quiz based on what was assigned during the week.

Show all work to receive partial credit. Rules maybe modified to ensure classroom management without notice. There will not be any conflict with district or local school rules, should any rules be added or deleted. Assessments Grades will be based on Tests, Notebook Checks, Quizzes, Class Participation/Special Projects & Homework. Tests will count 40%. Quizzes will count 35%. Special Projects/Class Participation & Notebook Check will count for 15%. Homework Quizzes will count 10%. Extra Credit will be available by the decision of the instructor.
