Further to the announcement made by Sapphire Corporation Limited (the “Company”) on 24 September 2009, the Board of Directors wishes to announce that China Vanadium Titano-Magnetite Mining Company Limited (the “China VTM”) has completed its Hong Kong Public Offering (the “HKPO”) and international placing of its shares. The HKPO recorded an over-subscription of approximately 39.6 times. The price per share for the Global Offering of China VTM has been set at HK$3.50. China VTM shares will commence trading on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 8 October 2009. Prior to the HKPO and based on the Company’s effective equity interests of approximately 12.73% in China VTM, the net carrying cost in China VTM by the Company as at 30 June 2009 is approximately S$23.1 million. With the listing of China VTM, the Company’s effective interests in China VTM will be pared down to approximately 9.55%. SHAREHOLDERS ARE ADVISED TO REFRAIN FROM TAKING ANY ACTION IN RESPECT OF THEIR SHARES IN THE COMPANY WHICH MAY BE PREJUDICIAL TO THEIR INTEREST, AND TO EXERCISE DUE CAUTION WHEN DEALING IN THE SHARES OF THE COMPANY.
