Introduction (Ashakiran and Deepthi, 2012) “eat healthy and live healthy’ is one of the essential requirements for long life. Unfortunately, today’s world has been adapted to a system of consumption of foods which has several adverse effects on health. Lifestyle change has compelled us so much that one has so little time to really think what we are eating is right?” (p.1) In their study the researchers also added, “Research into the possible health hazards on consumption of such high calorie foods has given an insight to avoid them, but unfortunately measures taken are not as effective as they need to be.” Different variations of food being sold in the market and streets have been introduced to people all over the world. Fast foods, street foods, and now we have seen the emergence of what are so called finger foods. What is finger food? Finger food is the term that signifies the widely available range of ready-to-eat foods and beverages sold and sometimes even prepared in public places, notably streets. Finger foods and street foods are low in cost compared with restaurant meals and offer an attractive alternative to home-cooked food. The Filipino finger food industry has been growing dramatically during the past years, for these reason we should try to find out what are the several factors why Filipino finger food consumption keeps growing among young people. Therefore, as we have seen the popularity of finger food is spreading rapidly among consumers due to the following three main reasons: good taste, convenient time and price.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY The researchers believe that the research output of the study will be advantageous to the following: To the customers. This output will help them to make their expectations in the drastically growing food industry To the future food business enthusiast. The proposed study serves as their reference of what food product to introduce in the growing and innovative market. To future researcher. The proposed study will benefits and help the future researcher as their guide. The study can also open in development of this study.

ASSUMPTION OF THE STUDY In conducting this business the following assumptions were made. It was assumed that: 1. The capital we invest will grow and not fall into major recession. 2. The consumers will deeply appreciate the product we have made. 3. The Sweet Deli Food Corp. assume, of course, that there are no unforeseen changes in the production of our output to make our clients' order immediately.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION. The study is about the implication of the combining finger foods and Filipino dessert aims to determine the acceptability of these products as a spread. This study includes comparing some finger foods and Filipino desserts that has a comparison with the product of the researcher but to those only who had the same taste or ingredients with the product. The study will only focus on determining the outcomes of combining two kinds of Filipino foods and will not tackle things such as the prize, size and appearance. The most likely respondents of the study will be the students and middle ages since it’s the target market but will also consider adults. A total of 50 respondents will be selected randomly take a sample and some adults will be covered as part of respondents for sensory evaluation techniques. The study will be conducted along the Regalo Avenue in North Fairview Quezon City.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM Filipinos are fond of creating different varieties of food, that they liked to buy it. Desserts are one of the variety of foods that Filipinos like to experiment with, since they have the appetite of eating sweets. While finger food are more likely to be affordable but has that same good taste. Eating two different foods are hassle. Today, it is a trend eating the on the go cup consisting two different containers for two different foods. This study tends to find out on: What are the implications of combining finger foods and Filipino desserts. The researchers want to know will the finger foods and Filipino desserts are compatible and it will capture the customer’s interest? Here are some specific questions that the researchers want to point out” 1.) Does the combination of finger foods and Filipino desserts are compatible? 2.) Will the product be patronized by the target customers? 3.) Does the choices/varieties of the product gives satisfaction to the interests and demands of the market?

Patronized - treat with an apparent kindness that betrays a feeling of superiority. Recession - a period of temporary economic decline during which trade and industrial activity are reduced. Tackle - make determined effort to deal with (2 problem or difficult task) Unforeseen - not anticipated or predicted Variety - a thing that differs in some way from other of the some general class or sort ; a type.
