2009 ANNUAL CONFERENCE | CALGARY, ALBERTA | MAY 27 - 29

Marriott Calgary Hotel: CVCA has a limited room block, negotiated rates available only while supply lasts with guestroom

What does the future bode for these two components of the private equity asset class? Can private equity continue to outperform? Can venture capital fund the transition to a new economy? What's the best way forward for portfolio companies in a difficult economic environment?

Golf Day – Wednesday, May 27, 2009 A special opportunity for a limited number of conference attendees to mix a round of golf with a round of networking at The Links of Glen Eagles in Cochrane, Alberta (http://www.gleneaglesgolf.com). This ridgeline course was designed by Les Furber, one of Canada’s most legendary architects, known for turning stunning sites into spectacular golf holes. Bus transfer to and from the Hyatt Regency, departing the hotel at 6:00 a.m. and returning at 3:00 p.m. Registration fee for the golf is $183.50, which includes green fees, power cart, bus transfers and food and beverage. Limited spots have been secured this year and you need to register by April 27, 2009, as remaining spots are open for public play after that date. To arrange club rentals, contact the Pro Shop directly at 403-932-1100. Cost for rentals is $35 + GST $1.75 = $36.75. This should be done by April 27, 2009. If you are interested in a specific foursome grouping, please note your team mates at the time of registration to [email protected], alternatively, groupings will be done randomly.

Travel with WestJet Airlines CVCA has secured a discount for conference attendees of 15% off WestJet's best available regular fare, and 10% off their seat sale fares at the time of booking your flight (excluding web and promotional fares). Attendees must make their travel arrangements through the WestJet Specialty Sales Team and quote account QC # 5796 at the time of booking.
