Career Expo Brian McColgan 9/10/08 Career expo response Hour 4 I choose Iron worker, molecular biology, and accountant. I choose iron worker because I am fascinated with tall buildings and there structures made of iron. I choose accountant because I like money and wanted to know how to manage it. I choose molecular biology because biology is my favorite subject. To become an iron worker you have to be at least 18, have a high school diploma, you have to be strong and be in good physical condition to lift heavy iron; you have to have a good sense of balance, and have to be drug and alcohol free. Iron workers build buildings, bridges, stadiums, domes, and many more structural things. Molecular Biology is the study of biology at a molecular level. To become a molecular biologis you need to take a lot of college courses and know a lot about science and chemestery. Accounts manage money. To become an accountant you need to complete CPA and other accounting courses. If I were an iron worker I would probably not make a lot of money but I could work my way up to a good salary. I think it would be fun to be able to talk and solcialize while you work. If I were an iron worker I would look forward to seeing a finished a brand new building or bridge one im done.
