Card Folio: It’s fun to make cards, and it’s fun to give cards as a gift. Make up this sweet little folio, insert a couple of your own cards and some envelopes, decorate it to match, and you’ll have a nice gift to give to just about anyone. What you’ll need: (For two cards and Folio) Three sheets of double-sided printed cardstock Two eyelets, punch and setting tool. Scissors, Paper trimmer Optional, ink and rubber stamps. 1. Choose the paper you want to use for the folio. Cut it to 10” x 12”. Fold it in half, bringing the two ten inch sides together.
2. Line up template along fold. Trace template and cut out.
3. Mark eyelet hole and punch through both layers.
4. Open. Mark 6” from corner on each outer edge.
5. Use marks to line up ruler and score.
6. Fold up.
7. Ink edges, if you like.
8. Use previously punched eyelet holes to punch through flap and set eyelet to hold flap in place. 9. Decorate outside. Cards: 1. Cut rectangle 5 ½” by 8 ½” and fold two 5 ½” sides together. Cut strip, 1 3/4” x 5 ½”, stamp design, ink edges, fold over top inch of strip. Glue strip onto card, with the folded lip on the inside of card. Embellish with glitter glue.
Allow glues to dry, put cards in pocket, maybe tie together with a ribbon . . . you’re ready to present!
