Youth & Community Outreach Programs
Camp Hero FREE day camp providing military children opportunities practice the core values of the YMCA: Caring, Honesty, Responsibility, and Respect.
Apply at www.militaryymca.org June 10th - June 17th Children 7 to 12 years old Five full days packed with games, crafts, and exploration. Traveling twice a week to local San Diego scenic parks and a special day long trip, Camp Hero keeps San Diego Military kids busy and having fun.
Location: Armed Services YMCA Paul Hartley Complex Sessions: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm August 3rd - August 7th August 10th - August 14th August 17th - August 21st (week devoted to IA children) August 24th - August 28th The participating child’s Active Duty sponsor must be E-6 or below and currently assigned to a San Diego based ship or military installation.
Invitations to Camp Hero will be emailed on June 24th San Diego Armed Services YMCA
