Medical Marijuana Update and Dispensary Investigations CNOA in association with the Los Angeles County District Attorney' Office Criminal Justice Institute are proud to present this greatly needed class. Recent court decisions require that officers have specific training in the Compassionate Use Act and other provisions to qualify as an expert when arresting person(s) in possession of quantities of marijuana for sale and are claiming the exemption under Proposition 215. This class will give participants an update on laws and current case decisions pertaining Proposition 215 and SB 420. This course will also detail howto conduct a "Dispensary Investigation", and discuss filing considerations. This is a must class for patrol, parole, probation and narcotic investigators.
