The All India Prison Officers Association had a meeting on 16.9.2009 at Chandigarh and elected Sri K.V.Reddy as President of the Association. Uniformed officers from Warder to Jail Supdt are its members. The President & Secretary of all State Units are the Executive Committee Members of AIPOA. The Association has passed a resolurion empoweing the President, to make tour of all the States, to find out the Staff Problems, to Organise Staff Meetings and Select/Elect the Office Bearers of all State units.
