Represent the views, questions and experience of academic peers to the Program Coordinator and the Associate Dean to improve the academic experience that students receive during their time in the CYC program. Assist in representing the CYC program during college and program promotional events and organizing/coordinating social events. Refer and redirect peers to academic supports such as the Writing Centre and the Student Success Facilitator. Report directly to the Program Coordinator as issues arise, always presenting issues in a constructive manner with potential solutions prepared in advance. Attend the bi-annual Program Advisory Committee (PAC). This includes preparation and presentation of a brief report to the committee, which represents the views of the Student Rep’s year/section. Propose and organize additional training such as ASIST, CPR, etc.
