He discussed the importance of discrepancies in catalogue prices between Scotts , Michel and Gibbons catalogues, and how to take advantage of those differences. He also described factors like world economic and geopolitical change as it relates to stamp investment.

Burholme Stamp Club participated in the Burholme Flea Market on May 16th on the Ryerss Museum lawn. We recruited new members at our informational table. Also, on Sunday, June 14th, at 12 noon, Stuart, our President will give a very informative lecture at the Ryerss Museum on the Philatelics of the Victorian China trade, which Mr. Ryerss was heavily involved in. We hope this will inspire non-collectors to become interested in philately. All members are encouraged to
come and bring a friend and help our Club and the Ryerss Museum and Library grow!!!!!!!SHOW YOUR SUPPORT. *Members who want to continue receiving this news letter, must remember there is no dues payment to be in this club; only you participation is counted as dues, so please come or your news letter will discontinue. *
We need knowledgeable Club members to help give lectures on Philatelic materials, please contact Stuart for more info. 215-722-2614
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$MONTHLY INVESTMENT TIPS$$$$$$$$$$$$ In honor of Flag Day, we recommend a
very scare stamp from Norway, Scotts B24, which depicts the flag of Norway and a Norwegian Soldier issued in very small quantity
in 1941, this is one of the key stamps for flag topical collectors. Fly this stamp proudly, especially if its Never Hinged!! See you at the Club!!!!
BEGINNERS CORNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mistakes: which are called errors, made during the printing process are very popular with stamp collectors. Many stamps with missing or wrong colors or inverted centers
or incorrectly perforated or on the wrong paper, are often of great value, so keep coming to the club if you want to learn more about errors!!!!!
