Compounding is trhe basic part of pharmacy practice and when it comes to the bulk compounding it is process i involved large scale preparations of pharmaceuticals where a large doses are prepared at a time.Bulk compounding can be broadly devided into two major catergerier epending on the finsal product intent to administered in to the patient.d 01.bulk compounding of pharmaceuticals where final product should be sterile .eg.inravenous admixtures,total parenteal solution etc. 02.bulk compounding of pharmaceuticals where the final product need not to be sterile This account is limited to bulk compounding of sterile product.
