4 pieces of 2x10, 8' long of no. 1 pine, for the legs, head-neck piece, and to laminate the body 1 piece of 1x10, 8' long clear pine, for cheek pieces, saddle pieces, and rockers 1" dowel, about 12" long, for hand-holds A ball of yarn for the tail and mane

Cut out body shape and laminate to 3" thick, round over edges and sand smooth Cut out legs and bevel top portion down to 1" where the leg attaches to body, so the leg will splay out just a bit, and attach with screws and glue Cut out head-neck piece and attach cheek pieces, screw neck to body Cut out rockers and attach to outside of legs. Add 1x3 floor boards Drill 1/2" holes in neck and rump and insert knotted yarn with a dab of glue to form mane and tail Insert 1" dowels in side of neck
