Atlas Copco Board to consider Buy Back of equity shares Atlas Copco India Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on June 25, 2008, inter alia, to consider buy back of equity shares of the Company under Section 77A of the Companies Act, 1956.
Trading at high valuation of PE 36x. Also the share price of Rs. 1294 is out of the reach of retailer investor. Hence closed.

Beckons Industries - Outcome of Board Meeting Beckons Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 16, 2008, inter alia, has discussed and decided the following issues: 1. To invest in the shares of M/s. Punjab Biotechnology Park Ltd so as to restore the status of the said Company as the subsidiary of Beckons Industries Ltd. 2. Decided the future expansion / diversification into microalgae related activities and discontinuation of existing business of manufacturing Computer Stationery.
3. Finalised the modes of raising funds by issue of convertible debentures and disposing off unutilized / idle fixed assets of the Company. 4. To place the respective agenda items before the shareholders which requires their consents in terms of provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 for giving effect to the above.
