Above the Best!
Reconnaissance Operations: The primary mission of the OH-58D is to conduct reconnaissance and security operations. The Kiowa Warrior is an armored light helicopter used to sneak around the battlefield acting as the eyes and ears of the commander.
Attack Operations: The mission of the attack helicopter battalion is to destroy massed enemy mechanized forces and other forces with aerial firepower, mobility and shock effect. The attack helicopter battalion conducts deep, close, and rear operations, allowing the Force Commander to gain and maintain the initiative.
Assault Operations: The assault battalion provides ground commanders with highly mobile, flexible and responsive combat force. The assault battalion’s speed and mobility enable the commander to adjust force ratios across the entire battlefield carrying the fight to the enemy.
