3. Discussion with Australian universities – Collaboration

Flinders University •Flinders University does recognize GAC. International office of Flinders University will follow up with students admission into Flinders Univeristy. •Regarding the Pegasus International University project, there is possibility to collaborate to conduct the 1+2 or 2+1 model. •In the area of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Flinders University has strong link with TAFE with joint product with Regency.

3. Discussion with Australian universities – Collaboration

University of South Australia •Accreditation with TAFE for students who take the hospitality or ICT program. Students finishing diploma will be placed at Year 2 or Year 3 of degree programme. •If the diploma granted to students from other RTO, not TAFE, the programme must be comply with AQF to be recognized by the University of South Australia. Other wise, the programme must be assessed by the university. •Articulation of early childhood programme: Dr. Noel to send the Early Childhood articulation framework to Paul Saeki. •To proceed working on the academic agreement

TAFE SA Adelaide North – Regency Campus 

Auspicing contract to be completed and expanded to include other areas.



6 options for delivery, progressive handover to Pegasus. Beginning with option 1, 100% Regency.



To progress options, Vietnam staff need to have TAA and Adv Diploma in industry.

TAFE SA Adelaide North – Port Adelaide Campus •The strength of TAFE SA Adelaide Port Campus is health care, nursing programmes. •Both sites can develop twining qualification programme up to diploma level. Bridging programme may be needed for students.

TAFE SA Adelaide North – Port Adelaide Campus •Students with diploma degree at TAFE SA can get 12 month transfer to degree programme. •For students coming from countries like China, India, their qualifications from their countries cannot be recognized. But if the students have certain type of skills, those skills can be monitored and assessed. •Agreement can be made for the English language under the RTO of TAFE SA, there is no need to develop another Agreement

TAFE SA Adelaide South –Adelaide City Campus 





The curriculum of the English Language Centre with no charges. KinderWorld can send the proposal letter to the Quality Board for approval of running the program, printing cost for the curriculum is about $10. The collaboration with TAFE SA Adelaide South can be inserted into the Auspicious Agreement that KinderWorld has had with TAFE SA Regency. As until 1 July 2009, they are both still one RTO. In terms of RPL model, English Language Centre usually has a placement test for students to place them into suitable class, and issues the qualifications for the lower levels if students wish to obtain.

Articulation pathways from TAFE into universities in SA 

Agreement reached for Department of Further Education, Employment, Science & Technology (DFEEST) to send KinderWorld articulation pathways from TAFE courses to SA Universities.



Enthusiasm for DFEEST to sponsor an essay competition across Vietnam. KinderWorld will organize and host.

Ms. Paula Nagel – Department of the Premier and Cabinet: to act as lobbyist for KinderWorld in South Australia
