U.nited S.tudents As those that lead insist that “cutting back”, Is the only response to the money we lack We must respond with “fighting back” Action required, but no violence needed Each must be determined to not be defeated In our basic demand that is being pleaded, An education that heightens the mind A simple request which is still denied This is not only to you or I It is denied from U.S. Campus filled with united voices and unencumbered thoughts on signs Administrators ponder from where it all derived A collection of once blinded and muted students arrived Administrators predict the movement will be permanently paused As they seek for names of “leaders” to detour our cause With hopes students will uphold administrative laws Yet, still they do not understand It is not just one woman or one man We are our the leader The leader is U.S. We must not allow for them to divide The power that such unity provides In each this strength resides That can change the climate in which we learn The time has come to take your turn To redefine the education for which we yearn Be motivated by your frustrations Be enlightened by your realizations Be supportive of our common aspirations To prove this movement has U.S.
