BRANCH MANAGER (Ortigas) Job Description A Branch Manager (BM) in Unmei Nihongo Center has a high level of accountability and responsibility in the achievement of the Center’s organizational goals and objectives. However, BM position does not supersede the HR Manager’s position or that of the Accounting Manager who both directly reports to the General Manager. Reporting: Directly reports to the General Manager. Nature of Reporting: Flexi-time, with no less than 48 core-work hours (inclusive of client calls and official business meetings) based on the gliding or flexi-time work schedule pursuant to DOLE Advisory No. 4, series of 2010. Primary Responsibilities: Human Resource Management
Responsible for the final recommendation to the HR and the General Manager of the potential candidate for an advertised vacant position, detailed in the Staffing Requirements Analysis
Assigns and delegates employees (regular or ISP) to interim roles for a project, as needed.
Monitors and regulates employee performance in consonance with the Performance Evaluation Standards as against results of Periodic Performance Evaluation and recommends corrective actions in the Performance Management Plan
Assesses staff performance and provides coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
Recommends trainings and employee development plans for motivation, retention and career growth in the Training and Development Plan.
Sales and Marketing
Ensures that the Branch’s monthly revenue targets in all business segments are met through direct supervision and control of the admin and operations team.
Responsible for laying down Office Standard Operating Procedures (OSOP) in consonance with (and does not conflict with that of) the Employee’s Handbook and ensuring strict compliance at all times to all people.
Plans and implements sales and marketing strategies via the Sales and Marketing Plan with an objective of increasing clientele reach, tapping new markets, and ensuring re-enrolment of current pool of students
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly schedule of student orientations and information dissemination activities (open house, event and expo participations, etc) in the General Operational Plan
Creates a strong branding and corporate image enhancement strategies consistent with the Center’s Mission and Vision in the Strategic Branding Enhancement Plan

Financial Management
Monitors the performance of the Operations Group as regards meeting financial and marketing targets on a monthly basis
Prepares budgetary plans, reports and recommendations and adheres to budgets, taking calculated risks whenever necessary based on forecasted expenses.
Ensures that expenditures do not exceed the budget by thinking of creative ways of utilizing available resources.
Accountable for all the expenditures of the Branch
Ensures timely submission of finance-related reports at specified time intervals per guidelines provided by the Office of the General Manager
Ensures maintenance of all accounts-related records (Branch accounts, mandatory government contributions, and other outgoing payments)
Operations
Plans and organizes class openings and program offerings in consonance with available teachers and rooms
Monitors and ensures efficient operational function in the Center and smooth workflow in the Operations Group.
Gathers and analyses customer insights such as evaluation forms and online-created polls to recommended reparative solutions to negative feedbacks.
Ensures that the clients walking into or calling at the Branch are properly taken cared of, observing proper office norms and etiquettes.
Gathers teacher concerns via a Needs Requirement Analysis Report mandated to the Head Teacher and proposes corrective or productive solutions thereto.
Keeps abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
Collections
Ensures that contracts and collections documents (billings and official receipts) are properly done and dispenses of it to concerned clients on time, personally delivered to the clients or via courier
Makes proper adjustments in the rate stated in the quotation but makes sure that adjustments does not impinge heavily on revenue generation or does not compromise the Center’s current standard pricing.
Keeps track of all receivables ensuring that billings are sent ahead of time, not less than 1 week prior to payment due date.
Office Administration
Plans and controls administrative procedures and systems and devises ways to streamline all processes
Ensures the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate good business operations
Monitors inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new materials with attention to budgetary constraints
Oversees facilities and other maintenance activities of the Center

Compensation and Benefits:
At par with industry standard, starting with 30,000.00PhP basic pay (under the probationary status for 3-months starting February 1, 2018), paid bi-monthly with allowances1 and all mandatory government benefits.
Commissions on revenue target maintenance, no less than 5,000 every 100,000 hit or a fraction thereof and not more than 20,000 of the gross total revenue, per the Revenue Target Matrix of the Management.
Profit share – company initiated benefit specifically given to the marketing team’s annual performance that resulted to a significant increase in the company’s profit at year-end. The rate is computed on an average declared reached quota of not less than 5% but not more than 10% of the company’s over-all net profit, decided upon by the Top Management as declared at year-end.
