Function

Provides controls and indications for block operation Monitors UP/DN lines for occupancy. Combines channel A & B of axle counter at advance. Standard EJB used at home locations. Houses Tx-Mux, Rx-Mux, combiner-converter & interlocking relays. Transmits and receives block relay information from Station A to B and vice versa. Interface equipment between PET Quad cable & Tx-Mux, Rx-Mux & 4/2 wire.

Universal Axle Counter:   

RDSO specification – IRS S-42/85. Models available – 2D/3D/4D. Section length to be used (max) – 15 km. (20 dB loss)

Features:    

Track devices operating frequency at 5 KHz (Tx, Rx Coils). 210 Bit counter (1024 counts). EVR, SUPR drive for QS3, 12V, 1000 ohm relays. Modular design.

System suitable for block section

-

2D

If 3D/4D system is available, it has to be converted into 2D model before use in block section. If not converted, the floating LSTTL input of E/F and G/H channels of 3D/4D are likely to receive noise and system may have random failure. 7
