San Rafael Lagoon National Park
The tallest peak in the Southern Andes, Mount San Valentín is located in the park An impressive tourist sight is the large blocks of ice that can be seen breaking off the glaciers and crashing into the lake with a thunderous roar. Some of the species include the blackbrowed albatross, huala duck, black necked swan, and the cormorant, among many others. You can also observe dolphins, fur seals, chungungos, and elephant seals.

Angel falls is the world’s highest freefalling water fall (3,210 ft) It lies in the canaima national park Tourist refer to this stretch of the river as the Auyan Tepui river. Trips to the falls are sold in a package that includes plane flight from Caracas to canaima( the town which acts as an entry point to the national park) Boat trips , meals and boarding is required to reach the falls.
