The, Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining, Abandoned Mine Reclamation Program (UDOGM, AMRP) is scheduled to conduct reclamation of existing physical safety hazards that were created from previous and now abandoned mining activities in the Lakeside Mountains, some of which are located within the boundaries of your recently staked unpate:oted mining claims. The inventory, public meetings, engineering and design and the Environmental Assessment (EA) have aU 'been c()mpleted and the Decision Record was signed on February 13,2009, This gives the UDOGM. AMRP the approval to move forward with their project in the Lakeside Mountains. At the present time the construction phase for this project is scheduled for June 2009 and the proposed method of closure for the physical safety h~rds located within the boundaries of your c1aiIUS will be backfilling with existing surrounding material. If you do not wish this to occur, you must take responsibility for the affected features by filing an, exploration notice as per 43 CFR § 3809.21 43 CFR § 3809.420(b)(13) with thjs office. This notice must include an of the information requested in 43 CFR § 3809.301, including a :reclamation cost estinui.te to fully reclaim your proposed operations as required by § 3809.552. Your proposal must also comply with the 3715.2 and 3715.2-1 regulations,

Y all: have 15 calendar days from the receipt of this letter to submit the exploration notice along with a reclamation cost estimate that satisfies 43 CFR § 3809.301, or we will assume that you do not wish to accept responsibility for the relevant features. In addition, a temporary financial guarantee in the amount of the reclamation cost estimate must be submitted within 30 calendar days of receipt of this letter.
