Blest that you are mine You walked non chalantly and calmly, You are ever so silent when you sit in a corner, As I approach you nervously, You smile softly and shyly, As I sit next to you, You let your arms embrace me, And you see me blushing furiously and smile sweetly, Because of the warmth of your embrace. You softly whisper in my ears, The three words that I want to hear, You told me that you love me and kissed my left cheek, I suddenly cried and hugged you tight, You wiped my tears away and kissed my lips, And I told you that I love you too… You cried tears of joy and smile sweetly, You placed your head on my lap and closed your eyes to rest. When you were sleeping, I looked at you, You were sleeping like a baby and you looked like an angel, And I am truly blest that you are mine and I am yours. By: Lynette Delariarte
