Bite of Reality Reflection
Describe the persona you were given -- occupation, kids, etc. I was a chef, I had one child, and I was married as well. How successful were you with budgeting your money? Explain. I didn’t really save a lot of money, but in the end I still had about 100 dollars which was enough for me to really do well. Did you need to go back and adjust any of your purchases along the way? Explain. In the end I didn’t need to go back except to write down the expenses that I forgot about. What surprised/interested/worried/confused you about how you managed your personal finances? What worried me the most was that I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to have enough money so I was worried about losing all my money. What is one takeaway -- a useful or important bit of information -- that you have gathered from participating in this experience? I think an important take away was to spend your money on something you only need for a little. There was no need to go way above and beyond on certain things. How might this experience affect your future choices with personal finance? I think it would help me with being smarter with my money.
