Drawing biological diagrams
Making a biological diagrams • Use a sharp HB pencil. Never draw in pen. • Draw large diagrams, occupying about 2/3 of an A4 paper. • Draw with smooth lines. Keep all parts in proportion. • Do not shade your diagram. • Draw ‘freehand’, do not use a ruler or compass. • Label different parts of a diagram. • Give each diagram a title (and the power of magnification)
