Dear President Obama,
My name is Betel. I attend the Howard University Middle School of Mathematics and Science. There are many things I love about my school. For example, I love the school websites and recess. One website my school has is Powerschool. This website lets us check our grades daily. Another website I like is Studywiz. This website allows us to see our homework if we forget about it. It also lets us see when our homework assignments are due. Another thing I like about my school is that we have recess. Most middle schools don’t have recess. Recess is fun because you can talk to your friends so when you get in class you do not have to interrupt your teacher while he or she is teaching. It is also good because you can get fresh air and when you are running around, you are actually exercising. I would like to thank you for supporting charter schools. I would also like to invite you to speak at the National Charter Schools Conference on Monday, June 22, 2009.
