Your arrival date is Sunday 21st June 2009. On your arrival in Charlotte Pass Village, you will be required to sign an employment agreement and to provide your tax file number, bank account and superannuation fund details for payroll processing. The rate of pay for this position will be $18.44 per hour and you will be employed on a casual basis. Your manager will do their best to integrate you and familiarise you with your work schedule and duties. Our emphasis is on positive guest contact, teamwork and communication. Accommodation: Staff Accommodation is usually shared unless otherwise agreed. We recommend bringing a few extra coat hangers and a double adaptor with you. Please note that candles are not permitted in staff quarters. All buildings at Charlotte Pass Ski Resort are non-smoking. Rooms are heated and contain free standing wardrobes, shared dresser, bed linen, blankets and pillows.

Employee Housing Common Facilities: The Common staff room includes a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a colour TV with access to Austar and a DVD player. A coin operated phone is in the staff common rooms for incoming and outgoing calls. Laundry facilities are provided including ironing board and iron (detergent supplied). Personal Items: The General Store in the Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel carries personal toiletry items such as toothpaste, shampoo, batteries, sunscreen. There is no chemist in the village. Feel free to bring a laptop, I-Pod, MP3 player or a portable DVD player for your personal use. Please bring an alarm clock. Banking: There is an ATM machine located in the Kosciusko Chalet Hotel reception. It is advisable to set up automatic payments for any bills via telephone and internet banking prior to arrival, as the nearest bank is 40km away. Uniforms: Uniforms and protective clothing will be provided by Charlotte Pass Village Pty Ltd. At the Hotel we require you to provide your own black dress pants and black non slip shoes. We encourage you to bring footwear that has appropriate rubber soles to deal with snow conditions. Dress Code: As an employee of The Company you are expected to look sharp, clean and professional with conservative attire. You are considered an ambassador for The Company at all times. Winter Weather Gear: During the winter months it can become quite cool in staff quarters and throughout the resort. Long sleeved shirts, sweaters, thermal tops and long johns, casual jackets and some wet weather gear will be required.
Travel to Charlotte Pass Ski Resort: By Car Travel to Jindabyne on the Monaro Highway via Canberra. From there is it a 35km drive to Perisher Valley. There is no overnight parking in Perisher Valley. Simply drive to the Bullocks Flat Skitube Terminal, where long term parking is available. From there catch the Skitube to Perisher Valley Terminal where oversnow transport to Charlotte Pass Village departs. By Bus Murrays and Greyhound operate regular services from Sydney to the Snowy Mountains region.
