TEFC, IC 0411 as per IS: 6362-1971 (IC 0416 for forced cooling with separately mounted fan with motor). S1/Continuous. IP: 55 as standard. IP: 54, IP: 56 & IP: 44 on request. Bi-directional. As per normal class of IS: 12075-1986. As per IS: 12065-1987. Capable of withstanding 60% overload for 15 seconds. 120% over speed for 2 minutes. 56 – 250M frame - Al pressure die cast, 280S – 355L frame & above - Cast Iron. Terminal box is placed Top of the frame towards drive end (DE) side as standard option. Terminal box on Top towards non-drive end (NDE) or Side terminal box, either on RHS or LHS on request. Top terminal box can not be interchanged to Side terminal box at site. 6 lead terminal board for all frame sizes / rating. Up-to & including 1.5 KW – Externally Star connected - DOL. Above 1.5 KW – DOL or Star / Delta. Terminal boxes will be suitable for rotation of 3600 in steps of 900. Max. Cable/terminal stud size is furnished. Threaded cable entry hole is provided & it is plugged with good quality threaded PVC plugs. Suitable single / double compression type cable glands (made of nickel plated brass) can be fitted on terminal box on request at extra cost. Dynamically balanced aluminum die-cast squirrel cage rotor with half sized key in the shaft extension is provided. All motors should conform to normal class of vibration as per IS: 12075 - 1986. Precision class vibration (A, B or C) will be provided on request at extra cost. Cylindrical single shaft extension at DE side as per IS; 1231-1974. Double / tapered / special shaft extension on request at extra cost. Shaft material - Carbon steel EN8 as per IS: 1570 1979. EN24 on request at extra cost. Threaded center hole – As per DIN 332, Part-2. Key & Keyway – As per IS: 2048 - 1983. Make – SKF / FAG. Frame size 56-180L - Doubled sealed for life deep groove ball bearing (ZZ) with grease (grease specification is furnished) at DE & NDE side. Frame size 200L-355L - Open type deep groove ball bearing with grease at DE & NDE side. Frame-wise details are furnished.

Angular contact ball bearing / tapered roller bearing / spherical roller bearing / cylindrical roller bearing may be offered on request at extra cost. Grease – Lithium sap based, Grade II of reputed make. Online greasing arrangement for frame 200L 355L frame with grease valve assembly (grease nipple) at DE & NDE side. Oil Seal / Wiper Seal - frame size 56 - 180L. V Ring Seal - frame size 200L - 250M. Labyrinth Seal - frame size 280S - 355L. Provision for one earthling terminal (M5 / M6 screw) on terminal box & two earthling terminals (M6 / M8 screw) on motor body. Drain holes is provided for frame sizes 180M - 355L with closable plastic drain plugs. One no. (for frame size 100L - 355L) suitably on top of the frame made of forged steel. Suitable bi-directional fan will be provided to ensure effective cooling as per standard specified. Materials used for fan will be Polypropylene for frame size 56315L & CI / Al for frame size 355. Stator windings is wound with high quality doublecoated super enameled copper wire & impregnated with insulating varnish (Dr. Beck or equivalent) & backed. Winding overhangs can be treated with epoxy gel, on request at extra cost. VPI treatment is on request at extra cost. All castings / MS components are finished with red oxide primer. Aluminium components are finished with zinc chromate primer. Standard painting shade is RAL-5014. Epoxy paint will be provided on request at extra cost. Suitably designed corrugated cartons for frame size up-to 132M as per approved quality / design. For frame sizes 160M & above, suitable & strong wooden packing boxes are provided. These boxes are designed keeping in view of Indian condition of handling, transshipment, transportation & roads. Routine tests: a) Insulation resistance, b) Resistance Measurement in the stator, c) Locked rotor d) No load e) Reduced voltage running & f) High voltage.
