All companies, representatives, agents working within the Baltic Control Group of Companies as individually responsible for their work, clients and accounts. All work is carried out to the best of our/their abilities, however, without any responsibility on our/their part and without affecting in any way the contractual rights of our principal. Our legal responsibilities can never exceed the amount of our fees, which we have collected for anyone job. Samples are sent for analysis when a written instruction is given to us, however, the laboratories remain independently responsible for their findings and results. All cargoes are stored in warehouses/silos and on quays at the risk and expense of cargoowners. The cargoowner remains responsible for all duties and taxes. Loss to goods is the risk and expense of cargoowners. No issuance of goods, liability, etc will be effected without written instructions. Furthermore all assignments are subject to our general trading conditions, which are available on request, which give us a pledge for all unpaid accounts. Our responsibility in the event of loss and/or damage is, however, limited to a sum ten times the amount of the fee or commission payable in respect of the specific service required under the particular contract which gives rise to such claims. Claims will not be considered unless all fees and outstandings have been settled between the principal and the company. Our venue is Karachi, Pakistan. Terms of payment: Net cash on presentation of invoice.
