Bataan Healing Pilgrimage 2019

"400 years, 7 churches, 1 Spiritual Journey" A pilgrimage is a form of strengthening spirituality and faith by purposefully attending to a certain place of worship, sanctity symbolizing good and strong faith in God. Throughout history, the faithful gather, and surrender themselves to the Lord in greater honest intent of reinforcing their connection. Even today, many still follow this tradition or calling. Bataan is one of many provinces with historical religious sites in the Philippines, with more than several churches built during the Spanish Occupation, dating from early 16 th Century AD. The churches were built under Dominican control and ministration, all across Bataan from Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Abucay, Pilar and Orion, and Balanga City. This Pilgrimage will serve as both a spiritual and educational journey for the faithful, strengthening the foundation of faith of the Church and God, while learning a bit of history of the churches' founding through fragments of time. A pilgrimage will be initiated by Radyo Veritas for our Kapanalig on the 24th of March, 2019 across historical churches within Bataan. The pilgrimage will be a 1-day event starting from 4:00am to 9:00pm with a roundtrip transfer from the station to the Churches in Bataan, with a Mass from the first church to be visited. Included with the visit is the historical telling of the churches' origins. Veritas is inviting everyone to join this journey of peace, faith, and love. This will be on a first-come-firstserved basis. For inquiries and reservations in joining this pilgrimage as well as other activities, you may contact our Religious department at 925-7931 loc. 129 or you may email us through [email protected]
