About SIDO • • • •
SIDO was the first Small Scale development agency in India. It was established in 1954 on the basis of recommendations by Ford Foundation. It has over 60 offices and 21 autonomous bodies under its management. These bodies include Tool Rooms, testing centers, entrepreneurship development etc

100,000 rupees of investment in fixed assets in the small scale sector generates around employment for 4 persons.
