PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARANLEARNING CYCLE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES DAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF SISWA KELAS VIII MTs ASSULLAMY LANGKO TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017 Oleh AZMIL UMUR Nim: 12.211.030 ABSTRAK: Untuk menunjang terciptanya kegiatan belajar yang optimal yang mampu meningkatkan ketuntasan belajar siswa, guru menempuh berbagai macam cara di antaranya dengan merubah strategi salah satunya dengan penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII MTs Assullamy Langko Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dan subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A MTs Assulamy Langko dengan jumlah siswa 18 orang. Kegiatan penelitian menggunakan 2 siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP, lembar observasi keterampilan proses siswa dan tes hasil belajar kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan proses siswa pada siklus I sebesar 61,25% dengan kategori tinggi, dan pada siklus II sebesar 71,25% dengan kategori tinggi. Sedangkan data hasil belajar siswa siklus I diperoleh persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 72% dan siklus II sebesar 89%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII A MTs Assulamy Langko Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017, Kata Kunci : Learning Cycle, Keterampilan proses, dan kognitif

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CYCLE LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE PROCESS AND COGNITIVE ACHIEVEMENT IN CLASS VIII OF MTs ASSULLAMY LANGKO Azmil Umur 12.21103

ABSTRACT: In order to increasing student learning activities, teachers take a variety of ways by changing the strategy of study activities which one of them by implementation cycle learning model. This research was aimed to improve the skills and cognitive achievement of students in class VIII MTs Assullamy Langko by using cycle learning model. This research were classroom action research and the subject were class VIII A MTs Assulamy Langko by the number of students were 18 people. The research activities used two cycles. The instruments were used observation sheet of RPP materialized, observation sheet of process skills of students and cognitive learning test. The results showed the students skills in first cycle of 61.25% with a high category, and the second cycle of 71.25% with a high category. While the student outcomes in first cycle obtained the percentage of classical completeness 72% and in second cycle by 89%. Based on the results of this study concluded that the implementation of the cycle learning model can improved process skills and cognitive achievement of students in class VIII A MTs Assulamy Langko in Academic Year 201/2017.
