ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I would like to extend my deepest and hearth-felt gratitude to: Villaverde Central School and Bambang National High School, my Alma Mater, who served as our second home and for being a part in the fulfillment of my dreams. To our supportive teachers who serves as our second parent and who are always there to teach us and mold us to become good children of God. To my loving parents, who send me to school though they’re hardened that I may be able to achieve my goals and to be successful someday. To my friends who are always there to give me a hand whenever I have difficulties in life. To my favorite cousin who is there for me, Rachelle. To a very kind and understanding teachers whose patience for us does not last.

D ED I CAT I ON

I dedicate this project of mine to our ever dearest Father who brought me here on earth, who gives all my needs and who gave me the strength, courage, confidence and peace of mind. To my bestfriend who served my inspiration in doing this. To my family who is always with me in my journey to life.

LIFE’S JOURNEY WITH GOD - KATHLEEN JANE A. FERRER

MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY

My father’s name is Danny Dato Ferrer and my mother’s name is Ana Jane Acosta. They were married last June 12, 1987, a memorable one because it is Independence day. I was given life on May 7, 1988, 11:48 am at Ibung, Villaverde Nueva Vizcaya. The eldest of two siblings. My brother is Kevin Dann. Kathleen Jane was the name given to me, a name chosen by my mom. Kathleen is derived from the name of a talented and popular author of famous books. He is my moms favorite author that is why she chose the name, and Jane is derived from my moms name, Ana Jane. According to the book KATHLEEN JANE means neat, pure, small and grace. I am a silent type of person, I hate people who are plastic. My childhood is full of sweet memories such as birthday parties. My mom would prepare some native delicacies such as espasol, bibingka, arroz caldo, pansit bihon or spaghetti. And highlighted with cakes, balloons and hotdogs. Birthdays as simple as it was, were always celebrated with my friends, relatives, aunties, uncles, family and playmates. As a Catholic I was baptized when I was 22 days old. I have 6 godmothers and 4 godfathers who were my father and mother’s friends, classmates and officemates. I cried when the priest poured water on my head that is according to my mom. I had my Holy Communion when I was in grade II and Confirmation at the age of 10 and my godmother is my auntie. These were happy experiences, making me a true daughter of God. I entered school at a very young age, five. My mother just graduated from college and busy reviewing for the teachers board exam so it was my grandmother who patiently accompany me to school. She was the one who brought me and fetched me up from school. I entered nursery at the Methodist Kiddie School which cater all our needs. Quality education, fieldtrips, friends, good and patient teachers. At the age of six my mom enrolled me in Grade I. My first step in the elementary and it was very frightening because nobody accompany and fetch me. But as days passed it was a wonderful one because I met friends. My elementary years was full of memories. I have wonderful experiences to cherished through out my life. At the age of eleven I graduated in elementary.

After graduation in elementary I am again preparing for high school life, another stage in the life of students. I enrolled at Father Villaverde High School. High school is much enjoyable than elementary. It is where you already experience crushes, puppy love and first love. I enjoyed my stay in FVHS but when I was in third year my mom transferred me to Bambang National High School because she is teaching there. High school life is really different and full of challenges. I graduated at Bambang National High School on March 30, 2004. After graduation in high school I am hard up to make my decision on what course I’m going to take in college. My first choice is to take up Tourism but I realized that this course is not in demand so I decided to take up AHSE/ BSNursing. College is very different from High School. Subjects are very hard to pass. But I’m doing my best to pass all my subjects. I’m really trying my best, I’m studying hard, and doing my requirements. As of now, I am enjoying with my chosen course. I met friends who are very kind, accommodating and helpful. I’m enjoying their company. We shared a lot of things, jokes, stories, and experiences . Now that we are already in third year I am hoping that I can make it so that I can achieve my goals, to help my family and to go abroad.
