SUMMER PICNIC REVIEW 375 people attended the picnic, at Tracy, in 100-degree weather

The Mandal wishes to praise the following: Mr. Kantilal Natwarlal Solanki, sponsored the food expenses of $858.56 Mr. Mahendra Kumar Bhukhan, sponsored the drink expenses of $492.12 Everyone who attended, in particular, the impressive response from 75 families (280 people) who were kind enough to RSVP Committee members and their families in supporting and preparing the event Mr. Bipin Surti, the president, stated future RSVP events will involve a charge for those who fail to respond. SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS The Mandal has selected two of our community’s students who will each be awarded $500. The two individuals will be recognised at our Mahotsav and their names, of course, will be revealed to you. We encourage more eligible students next year to apply to our scholarship programme.

Kashiben, 90, passed away on January 22, in Sacramento.
In memory of their mother, her two sons, Mr. Dayaram Ambaram and Mr. Ramanlal Ambaram, donated $101 to the Mandal. The Mandal appreciates the donation.
L.A. Mahotsav Pramukh Gsv. Vidyaben Kantilal Khatri, of Belmont, was last week honoured as the 11th Annual Mahotsav Pramukh by the Southern California Khatri Mandal.
