For example, the contents of libraries has changed greatly through the years. In the 1800s, libraries has been simply collections of books. However, today most libraries has become multimedia centers that contains tapes, computers, disks, films, magazines, music, and paintings. The role of the library in society also has changed. In the 1800s, libraries has been open only to certain people, such as scholars or the wealthy. Today libraries serve everyone. 2. In the last hundred years, traveling has become much and very comfortable. In the 19th century, it has taken two or three months to cross North America by covered wagon. The trip has been very rough and often dangerous. Things has changed a great deal in the last hundred and fifty years. Now you can fly from New York to Los Angeles in a matter of hours.

3. Things has changed a great deal at Caltrech Inc. when we first have started working here three years ago, the company has only had six employees. Since then we have expanded to include more than 2000 full time workers. 4. This mountain has never been climbed by anyone.
