Assignment N3

Vise II Assignment Nº3 The Objective that I chose was the “development of thinking” and I put all my attention in the communicative skills that are link with the ability to exposed ideas, opinions, convictions, feelings and experiences in a coherent and fundament way, using different and varied ways of expression. My activity is the following: Students have to choose one piece of paper, and each one have the name of one classmate, could be anyone, and the idea is that this person doesn’t be close to the student, because in that way the activity is more attractive, and students learn a little bit more about their classmates. The student has to write a paragraph with the main characteristics in terms of the way that he or she wears, the physical characteristic, the personality and something about her/his environment, for example if s/he has friends in the school, if s/he has brothers or sisters, if s/he participates in some sport activity or in something related with the school like the student center, or some club of study, for example math, English, language, etc. The idea is that the student has to describe her/his classmates talking in front of the rest off the class, and the class doesn’t know who is this person so they have to guess who is the person about the student is talking about, and the person who guesses will have a prize, that in my opinion could be something sweet like candies or chocolates. For me, this activity is interesting for many reasons: the first one is that students can meet each other in a funny way, because sometimes they spend a lot of time together but they don’t know anything important about their classmates. The second one is that they have de possibility to speak in front of the class and improve their English in terms of vocabulary, pronunciation and security about the things they are talking about. The third one is that they also have to write in a paper, so they can improve their redaction, their grammar and the way in that they express their ideas. The last one is that their win security when they are in front of people so they learn to communicate the thing better, because in this activity if they aren’t clear in their presentation, the rest of the class will not guess who is the person in the description.
