Barangay Assembly Minutes The registration for the Barangay Assembly 2019 themed: “Barangay Natin, Sama-samang paunlarin” started at 2:00 pm. The program started with a prayer from Imam Amman Hamja, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Kagawad Adawiya J. Ismael. The Punong Barangay then introduced the guest. Reading of the SILG’s and Chief Minister’s Messages were conducted by PInsp Walter W Annayo, Chief of Police and Mr. Supian T. Sairi, IPMR, respectively. The Punong Barangay then gave the State of the Barangay Address. She discussed principally on the issue of Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign in the Barangay. She commented that the PNP and AFP have contributed greatly to the reduction of Illegal drugs in the barangay. For the part of the BLGU, she mentioned that her office is in constant coordination with the authority and fully supports the campaign of the government. She also introduced reformed surrenderees who have taken part in the anti-illegal drugs campaign of the barangay. She also detailed the accomplishments of the BLGU for the year 2018 and on-going projects for CY 2019 like the massive reconstruction of the footbridges from Zone 1 to Zone 3. As part of the accomplishment report, a slide presentation was conducted by Mr. Supian T. Sairi. Next on the program were messages given by the guest, which also focused on the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign in the barangay. This was followed by messages from the barangay kagawads. An open forum was conducted at around 5:30 pm. Majority of the suggestions from the constituency were road improvements, streetlights, water supply and the clearing of water hoses in Zone 1.
