1. I desire to represent my community as part of “Team USA” at the world’s largest natural bodybuilding competitions. I placed first at a regional event earlier this year earning a spot to compete at nationals (a international level qualifier). I just got back from California where I competed at the national “Team USA” qualifier (see first event below). I took second place in my division and am officially a part of “Team USA”. On this team I will be representing the United States at two international shows, Natural Olympia (in Aus) and Natural Universe (in CA). I hope to use any success I have in this sport to be a positive role model and help improve health and fitness within the Coast Guard and my local community. I also desire to help educate young athletes in south Florida on the importance of being a “clean” athlete and the dangers of performance enhancing drugs. I am a member of the International Natural Bodybuilding Association (INBA) and have competed at three of their shows this year. The INBA South Eastern USA Bodybuilding Championships, where I took first place in the Men’s Open category as well as first overall. In July I took second place (overall) at the INBA Sunshine State Classic and was named “Inspirational Athlete of the Month” by EMERY Behavioral Medicine (a physical conditioning and nutrition clinic in south Florida). It is my passion to be a champion for natural athletics and do whatever I can towards helping create a drug free America. Based on my achievements so far (top two in

three shows) and a letter from the INBA international president, I believe I have an excellent opportunity to do very well during the above competitions.
