How the visualiser was used? The visualiser was used to display a large image of a daffodil onto the interactive whiteboard to help the children with their sketches. Once the daffodil was displayed on the IWB, I was able to draw the rough outline of the flower over the photograph to show the children how to draw the basic shape of the flower. At the end of the lesson we were able to capture and save the image of the flower to refer to in the follow-up lesson.

The benefits of the Visualiser to teaching & learning: • We were able to display the daffodil on the large IWB screen to help the • • •

children sketch the flower. We were able to capture and save the image of the daffodil for follow-up lessons. We were able to draw over the image of the flower, thus allowing the children to see the rough outline of the shape of the flower. We were able to show more than one image on the board simultaneously by capturing and saving the different images.
