How the visualiser was used? The visualiser was used to display a pair of Wellington boots on the Interactive whiteboard so that the children could sketch both the outline of the boot and also look in detail at the tread on the bottom of the boot. We were able to capture and display images of different treads from different pairs of boots in order to compare them. We were also able to save these images for later lessons.

The benefits of the Visualiser to teaching & learning: • We were able to display images of the Wellington boots on the large screen • •

so that all children in the class could see them in detail. We were able to annotate the images we captured and draw over the outline of the boots to help children when starting their own sketches. We were able to save the images that we had studied and refer to them in future lessons.
