INTRODUCTION  INTERNET is the Network of Networks.  INTERNET is worldwide network of smaller

regional networks.  It helps people to communicate with each other.  Communication of computers by TCP/IP.  It is Combination of hardware & software.  INTERNET Transfers information in digital form.  Accessing information that is stored on another computer.

HISTORY  Development of INTERNET by U.S

Department of defense.  US universities were linked to transfer data (ARPANET).  ARPANET connection reaches outside USA.  Era between 1970’s & 1980’s.  Online internet service in Karachi, PAKISTAN.

Uses  E-mail is most common use of INTERNET.  Publishing data over world wide website.  INTERNET provides us a lot of information.  We get connected with entire world.  We can also download different software.  Some organizations use INTERNET for their

personal purposes.  Online shopping is being so popular now a days.

get addicted to INTERNET.  Bad sites are also available on NET.  Hate crimes are produced by some organizations.  Fraud and scams are common on INTERNET.  Many web sites produce harassment.  Viewing inappropriate material.  Chatting and wastage of precious time.

FUTURE OF INTERNET  Global

distribution of knowledge and information.  Bandwidth will turn into terabytes.  Medium of INTERNET will be wireless.  Integration of internet with other technologies.  Uniting communities just like networks.  Virtual reality will be produced soon.  And World will become global street.

SUGGESSTIONS  Budget

of universities & ministry of education.  Online degree and certificate programs.  Sharing education sources by universities.  Link between government and population.  Must be used to increase literacy rate.
