Measurements of Areas 1.
Rectangle: - A quadrilateral with two opposite sides equal and four angles equal to 900. Area of rectangle= length* breadth
2.Square: - A quadrilateral with all sides equal and four angles equal to 900. Area of square= (side) 2
3. Parallelogram: - A quadrilateral with opposite sides parallel and equal. Area of a llgm= Base*Height

Rhombus: - A parallelogram with all four sides equal. Area of rhombus= ½ *(product of diagonals)
4.Trapezium: - A quadrilateral with any one pair of opposite sides parallel Area of trapezium=1/2 (sum of ll sides * distance between them)
5.Right- angled triangle: - A triangle with one angle equal to 900.
Area of triangle: - ½*base *height
6. Isoceles Triangle :- A triangle with any two sides are equal.
7. Equilateral Triangle :- A triangle with all
sides are equal.
8. Scalar Triangle :- when length of all sides of the triangle are different is called scalar triangle
9. Acute angle-: when all angles of the triangle are acute means less than 90 is called acute angled triangle. 10. Acute angled Triangle :- when all the angles of triangle are acute is called acute angled triangle 700
