[email protected] Tentative Educational Activities (subject to change) Romanian Children’s Relief – Host organization Visit a hospital-based child life program in Bucharest Work with children or youth in Bistrita, Transylvania Work with abandoned infants at a Placement Center Meet Romanian nursing students Work with children in an afterschool program
Tentative Travel Activities (subject to change) Bucharest – Romanian Peasant Museum, House of the People, Village Museum Transylvania – Visit an old castle in Sinaia Tour the beautiful medieval town of Sighisoara Information about the Trip: DATES: June 1 – 13, 2010 (approximate) REGISTRATION MAXIMUM: 16 students (8 CAD; 8 Nursing) FACULTY: Amy Conley and Rene Dahl from CAD Lynette Landry and Judy Greenwald from Nursing ESTIMATED FEES: Between $3,000-4,000, including airfare, lodging, transportation, and fee to the College of Extended Learning for travel insurance and course credits.
