I am from Morocco in the city of Rabat. It is very hot and humid there.

ã: ÝÚáÇ¿ åí ÍÇÑÉ æ ÑØæÈÉ ÌÏÇ Ýí ÚãÇä ÃíÖÇ.áÇ ÃÍÈ åí. Really? It is very hot in Jordan too. I don't like it.

ß: ÃÍÈ ÇáØÞÓ ÇáÍÇÑ æ ÇáãÔãÓ . ÇáÞÇåÑÉ ÍÇÑÉ ÌÏÇ Ýí ÇáÕíÝ¡ áßä ÈÇÑÏ Ýí ÇáÔÊÇÁ. ÊÍÈíä ÇáÔÊÇÁ æ ÃÍÈ ÇáÕíÝ.

I love hot sunny weather. Cairo is very hot in the summer but cold in the winter. You like the winter and I like the summer.

ã: äÚã¡ ÇáÔÊÇÁ ÃÍÓä ÝÕá. ÃÍÈ ÇáØÞÓ ÇáãØÑ. Yes, winter is the best season. I like the rain!

ß: áÇ!!ÃÍÓä ÕíÝ!! No!! Summer is the best

ã: äÚã¡ äÚã. ãÇÐÇ ãÇßæáÇÊ ÊÍÈíä¿ ãÇÐÇ ÃäÊ ÊÆßáíä Ýí ÇáãÛÑÈ¿ Okay, okay! What food do you like? What do you eat in Morocco?

ß: äÍä äÁßá Çáà ÑÒ æ ÇáÏÌÇÌ æ ÇáÎÖÇÑ æ ÇáÝæÇßå. ÇáãÛÑÈ æ ÇáÇÑÏä äÝÓ. ÇáãÛÑÈ áÇ ÈÚíÏ ÌÏÇ. We eat rice, chicken, vegetables, fruit. The same as Jordan! Morocco is not that far!

ã: äÚã¡ ÇáÇÑÏä äÝÓ. ÃÍÈ ÔÇæÑãÇ ÇáÏÌÇÌ ÃÍÓä æ ÝáÇÝá! Yes, the same as Jordan! I like chicken shawarma the best and falafel!

ß: ÃÍÈ ÝáÇÝá! æ ÞåæÉ ÇãÑßíÉ. ÓÊÇÑÈßÓ ÃÍÓä!

I love falafel! And American Coffee - starbucks is the best!

ã: ÚäÏíäÇ ÓÊÇÑÈßÓ ÃíÖÇ¡ áßä¡ áÇ ÃÍÈ. We have starbucks too, but I don't like it.

ß: ÝÚáÇ¿¿ ÚäÏí ÞåæÉ ÇãÑíßíÉ ßá íæã. Really? I have American coffee everyday.

ã: ÃÍÈ ÞåæÉ ÚÑÈíÉ. áßä Ýí ÃÓÑÊí íÍÈ ÓÊÇÑÈßÓ ÃíÖÇ!

I like Arabic coffee more. But in my family, they like starbucks also.

ß: åÐÇ "ßæá"! áß ÃÎæÉ æ ÃÎæÇÊ¿ That's cool. So do you have any brothers or sisters?

ã: äÚã! áí ÃÎ æ ÃÎÊ! ÃÎí ÇÓãå ãÍãæÏ æ ÃÎÊí ÇÓãåÇ ßÇíáÇ. æ ÃäÊ¿ Yes! I have one brother and one sister. Their names are Mahmud and Kayla. And you?

ß: áí ÃÎ æ ÃÎÊíä. ÃÎæÇÊí ÇÓãÇÆåã áíáÉ æ ÍÇäÉ. ÃÎ ÇÓãå ãÍãÏ. I have one brother and two sisters. They names are Muhammad, Hana, and Lelia.

ã: ÇÓãÇÁ Ìãíáæä. Ãíä æÇáÏí æ æÇáÏÊí íÚãáæä¿ Pretty names! What do your parents do?

ß: æÇáÏí ÃÓíÇÐ Ýí ÌÇãíÉ ãÍãÏ ÍãÓÉ. åæ íÏÑÓ ÇáÚáæã ÇáÓíÇÓíÉ. æÇáÏÊí ÊÏÑÓ Ýí ÈíÊ. æ ÃäÊ¿ My father is a professor at the University of Muhammad 5. He teaches political science. My mother works at home. And you?

ã: ÝíáÇ¿¿ æÇáÏÊí ÊÏÑÓ ÇáÚáæã ÇáÓíÇÓíÉ ÃíÖÇ! Ýí ÌÇãíÉ ÇáÇÑÏä. æÇáÏí ÇáãÊÑÌã. åæ íÊáßã ÇáÚÑÈí æ ÇáÃäÌáíÒí æ ÇáÝÑäÓí.

Really? My mother teaches political science, too. At the University of Jordan! My father is a translator. He speaks Arabic, English, and French.

ß: åÐá "ßæá"!! ÃÊßáã ÇáÚÑÈí æ ÇáÝÑäÓí ÝÞØ. That's cool! I only speak Arabic and French.

ã: ÃäÇ ÃíÖÇ! ÃÎß æ ÃÎæÇÊß Ýí ãÏÑÓÉ¿ Me too! Are your brother and sisters in school?

ß: äÚã! ÃÎí æ ÍÇäÇ Ýí ãÏÑÓÉ ËÇäæíÉ. æ áíáÉ Ýí ÇáÝÑäÓ ÊÏÑÓ ÇáÝÑäÓí ÇáÃÏÈ. æ ÃäÊ¿

Yes! My brother and Hana is in secondary school and Lelia is in France studying French literature. And you?

ã: ãÍãæÏ ãÚíÏ Ýí ÇáÌÇãíÉ ÇáÇãÑíßÉ Ýí

ÈíÑæÊ. ÃÎÊí ÊÏÑÓ ãÏÑÓÉ ÃÈÊÏÇÆí Ýí ÞØÑ. ÃÍíÇäÇ ÃäÇ ÃÔÚÑ æÍÏ áÃä åã ÈÚíÏ ÌÏÇ. Muhmud is a GSI at the American University of Beirut and my sister teaches primary school in Kuwait. Sometimes I feel lonely because they are so far away.

ß: ÃäÇ ÃíÖÇ. áßä¡ ÇÈä Úãí íÏÑÓ Ýí ÇáÞÇåÑÉ ÃíÖÇ. åæ ÃÓãå ÃãíÑ. åæ íÏÑÓ ÇáÇÏÈ ÚÑÈí. åæ áØíÝ ÌÏÇ.

Me too. But my cousin studies here, too. His name is Amir. He is studying arabic literature. He's very nice.

ã: ãäÊÓ! Ýí ãÇ ÃíÊ ãÊÎÕÕÉ¿ Great! In what are you majoring?

ß: ÃäÇ ãÊÎÕÕÉ Ýí ÇáÊÇÑíÛ¡ ÇáÊÇÑíÛ ÃãÑíßÉ. I am majoring in History, American history.

ã: ãíÊÓ! åá ÊÍÈíä ÇáÊÇÑíÛ¿ Great! Do you like history?

ß: äÚã! ÃÍÈ åæ! áßä åæ ÕÚÈ ÌÏÇ! Yes! I like it. But it is very difficult!

ß: áÃä¡ ØáÇÈ ÇáÊÇÑíÛ íÞÑæä ßÊÈ ßËíÑÉ!

Because, history students read a lot of books!

I have a business administration class, economics class, and law class.

ß: åá áß ÃÓÇíÐÉ ÌíÏæä¿ Do you have good teachers?

ã: äÚã! ßá ÃÓÇÊÐÊí ÌÚÏæä ÌÏÇ! ÃÍÈ ÃÓÇÊÐÊí ÅÏÇÑÉ ÇáÇÚãÇá åí áØíÝÉ ÌÏÇ.ãÇÐÇ ÚäÏß ÝÕæá¿

Yes! All my teachers are very good. I like my business administration teacher. She is really nice. What classes do you have?

ß: ÚäÏí ÇáÊÇÑíÒ ÃãÑíßÉ¡ ÝÕá Úáæã ÓíÇÓíÉ æ ÝÕá ÇÏÈ ÚÑÈí.

I have American history, political science class, and Arabic literature.

ã: åá ÊÍÈíä ßá ÃÓÇÊÐíß¿ Do you like your teachers?

ß: ·« ÃÍÈ åã.

No, I don't like them!

ã: åá ÃäÊ íÚÈÇäÉ áÇä ÝÕæáß ÓÚÈÉ¿ Are you tired because your classes are hard?

ß: äÚã¡ ÃäÇ ÊÚÈÇäÉ ÏÇÆãÇ. Ýí ÇáÍÞíÞÉ¡ ÃäÇ ÎáÕÇäÉ. æ ÃäÊ¿

Yes! I am always tired. In fact, I am exhausted. And you?

ã: ÃÍÈ ÇáÓÈÇ ÍÉ æ ÇáÊÕæíÑ. æ ÃäÊ¿ I like swimming and photography. And you?

ã: ÃÍÈ áÇÓÝÑ ÃíÖÇ! Oh! I like traveling also!

ß: Ãíä ÊÓÇÝÑíä Åáì¿ Where do you travel to?

ã: ÇáÌÒÇÆÑ æ ÊæäÓ¡ æ áÈäÇä. Algeria, Tunsia, and Lebanon!

ß: åÐÇ "ßæá!" ßäÊ ÃÓÇÝÑ Ýí ÇáÓÚÏíÉ æ Çáà ãÇÑÇÊ. That's cool! I used to travel to Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.

ã: ãäÊÓ! ÊÍÈíä ÇáÚæÏíÉ¿ åá ÇáØÞÓ¿ ÍÇÑÉ Ýí ÇáÓÚæÏÉ¿ Great! Do you like Saudi Arabia? Is it hot there?

ß: äÚã.! ÇáÓÚæÏíÉ ÍÇÑÉ ÌÏÇ! áßä ÃÍÈ ÇáÓÚæÏíÉ. ÚäÏí ÕæÑÉ ÇáÓÚæÏíÉ!

Yes, it is very hot in Saudi Arabia. But i like it. I have a picture.
