Successful aquaculture operations require that the quality of the water in grow ponds be maintained at the optimum level for rapid, healthy growth of the fish or shrimp. This water quality is determined by important parameters such as: ♦ Dissolved Oxygen ♦ Temperature ♦ PH Level

♦ Water Level ♦ Turbidity ♦ Others depending on crop Scientific Technologies (STI) offers comprehensive monitoring solution (Aquaculture Alert), which can provide detailed data and alarming capabilities on a real-time basis via cellular communications. The STI Aquaculture Alert system can monitor any parameter at a frequency of up to once per second. Within the Data Dolphin Monitor, the software program monitors, logs (4 MB internal memory) and alarms when these values are outside of preset parameters. This information can be used to determine if immediate action is required to prevent crop losses or disease. As importantly, the historical data can than be used to establish a basis on which the effects of environmental changes on yields can be studied When an alarm condition exists, the Aquaculture Alert communicates the status, identification, and if desired, GPS location of the alarm event to an e-mail or pager via a GSM cellular network by using the STI GPS Modem. This feature-rich wireless cellular data modem also allows a user to communicate with Aquaculture Alert system and monitor any measured parameter at any time, from any computer, over the world-wide-web. A local auditory and visual alarm is also provided on alarm conditions. PRODUCT LINKS DD124 or DD400 (depending on input channels required) DO Sensor DST Sensor
