MESSAGE FROM YOUR
PRESIDENT G A RY L . FULLER CCE CEC AAC ACF REGIONAL CONFERENCE I want to thank all our members, friends and associates for all of your help, dedication and hard work in making the ACF Western Conference a huge success. We received compliment after compliment on our events, dinners and seminars. The conference got off to a rocking start thanks to the hard work of Janet Shaffer CWPC, her students and Michael Higgins CEC as guests enjoyed the conference Ice Breaker Reception. The food seminars and demonstrations were action packed and informative. Local members Chris Plemmons CEC, AAC and Kevin Blaylock CEC did a great job presenting our local products. The tradeshow was well atttended thanks to the great show put on by our local associates - much appreciated. Food competitions held at Seattle Kitchen Academy were outstanding. Thank you to Gene Fritz and John Fisher for their incredible organization. Chef Fry CEC at the Doubletree did Washington proud by providing creative and tasteful food for all meals. The menus and the service were above and beyond. We couldn’t have done any of it without the help of all the volunteers and local schools that helped out on a daily basis. A special thanks to Cecila Stec, Michael Baldwin CCE and Nancy Beauchamp for their great contribution. Congratulations to our director, Fiona Ronyai, for the scholarship she received for her hard work with our association. Our American Academy of Chefs dinner was superb.
