Successful Scholastic Book Fair We would like to thank everyone that came out and bought a book at our book fair from 3.11.19 through 3.19.19. Overall sales were close to $9,000 with a portion of that coming back to FES and our students. Read Across FES was on 3.15.19. We had a Dr. Seuss Breakfast in the morning! All of the items were a big hit! FES had the most visitors we have ever had at a book fair event...131 people! We sold over $2,500 in books during that time. Many readers read to classes throughout the day. The day was definitely a WIN for FES with a number of positive comments from the readers and community members that visited FES. EVERY KID HEALTHY WEEK FES will be celebrating the national observance of Every Kid Healthy Week April 22 thru April 26. We will be promoting increased physical activity and healthy lifestyles. There will be combined specials that week so please make sure your child dresses appropriately to participate in a week of fun activities. Encourage good eating habits at home since the parents are the best role models. There will also be bring your parent to breakfast on April 25th.....Save the date, more info to follow.
