T
oday we celebrate Palm/ Passion Sunday, the end of the forty-day season of Lent and the beginning of the Holy Week. Palm Sunday commemorates the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and ushers us into the Holy Week, a time of more intense fasting, reading, and prayers in which we focus intensely on Jesus’ last days, his execution, his burial, and finally, his resurrection. To help us focus on these, we are all invited to join in our Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services as scheduled, and of course come together in our Unified Easter Sunday Worship Service next Sunday. See you all then!
