Application for Writing Center Graduate Assistantship Positions If you are an enthusiastic writer, and if you enjoy working one-on-one with peers, then an assistantship in the Writing Center may be the right job for you. Please complete the application below. Follow the submission instructions at the bottom of the page by April 24, 2009. Interviews will be conducted in early May 2009. If accepted for a GA Tutor position, you will be required to enroll in ENG 600 (Tutoring Composition) this coming fall as part of your training for tutoring in the Writing Center.

HALF-TIME graduate assistants, in return for 10 hours of assigned duties per week, receive tuition remission for 6 credits per semester, a stipend of $2500 for the academic year, and must be enrolled for 6 credits per semester. **
FULL-TIME graduate assistants, in return for 20 hours of assigned duties per week, receive tuition remission and a stipend of $5000 for the academic year and must be enrolled as full-time graduate students (9-15 credits).
